AI consulting for Twin Cities small businesses and nonprofits

Practical, human-in-the-loop AI for lean teams across the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro. Remote clients welcome too.
Short answer: I'm an AI consultant based in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro, working with small businesses and nonprofits across the Twin Cities. I help lean teams find the manual, repetitive work AI can take off their plate, then build practical tools and hand them off so your team owns them. Most of it runs remote, so I take clients beyond the metro area, and Minnesota, as well.
A lot of AI consulting is impersonal, remote, and priced for companies with a marketing/strategy department. That's not who I work with. My clients are Twin Cities organizations with small teams and real limits: a founder who wears five hats, a nonprofit where the Executive Director is the bottleneck, a business sitting on data that never gets used. I keep the focus on practical work, and being local means I know the kind of organizations the metro is actually made of.
What I help with
Automating high-volume, repetitive work
The catalog updates, data entry, content writing, and follow-up that eat hours every week. If a task is high-volume and follows a pattern, it's a good fit to run on its own, over and over. For example, I rebuilt SEO across thousands of product pages for a Saint Paul specialty supplier so weeks of manual work was completed in just a few minutes.
Connecting tools that don't talk to each other
The manual copy-paste between systems that never quite connect. Doing that by hand costs time and causes errors, and it's often where a small, focused automation pays for itself fastest.
Building AI assistants and pipelines
Grant drafting, prospect research, SEO content, and other research-heavy work, built around how you actually work with a human review step so the judgment stays yours. For example, a grant-drafting and funder-research assistant for a Minnesota STEM-education nonprofit where I serve on the board, built to give the Executive Director her time back.
How I work: in, built, and out
I build and hand off. Every job has a clear start and end: a working tool your team owns. You get the tool without being tied to me. I'm available if you have questions, but you shouldn't be dependent on me. Being local makes the handoff easier: I can sit down with your team, walk them through it, and make sure it sticks.
Local first, but not local only
I'm based in Shoreview and work across the Twin Cities, so local organizations can meet in person. The tools travel well, though, so I also take remote clients beyond Minnesota when the work is a fit. If you're local, meeting face to face is a bonus, and if you're not, remote works just as well.
Let's see where AI fits for your organization
The best first step is a Discovery Session: a short, AI-led interview you take on your own time. It finds where you're losing time and tells you honestly whether AI is worth it. I'm local to the Twin Cities and happy to meet, or we can do it all remote.
